Who Checks the Facts on This Site
One person checks every PlayOJO fact you read here: Michael Roberts, our Casino Expert. He writes each page, reads the primary source behind every number, and signs the dates you see at the foot of the page.

We keep it to one name on purpose. When a figure is wrong, you know exactly who checked it and who will fix it - no hand-offs between writers, no "the team" hiding a missed update. It also means the same checking habits run through the whole site, from the full review to the slot guides.
How We Fix Errors
PlayOJO changes things - a new welcome offer, a tweak to a fee, a studio added to the lobby. Some of our mistakes come from that, some are plain slips. Either way we treat them the same: find the source, fix the page, show the date.
Wrong fact
A number, name or rule that doesn't match the primary source today: a limit, a fee, a spin value, the licence number, an RTP figure.
Out of date
Something that was true when we checked but PlayOJO has since changed, like an offer that's been replaced or a payment method that's gone from the cashier.
Misleading wording
A sentence that's technically right but reads wrong - for example, a limit mentioned without saying whether it's per transaction or per 30 days.
Once an error is confirmed against the source, the fix goes live within two working days, usually the same day. Money matters come first: limits, fees and bonus terms jump the queue ahead of a game description or a studio list.
Every fix moves the Last updated date in the byline at the bottom of the page. A re-check that finds nothing wrong moves only the Facts checked date, so you can always tell the difference between "we looked again" and "something changed". First published never moves. Typos and broken links get fixed quietly and don't touch any date.
Our Verification Protocol
Every fact on a page has to trace back to a primary source - the organisation that sets the rule or makes the game. If we can't find it there, it doesn't go on the page. Here's the order we work in.
- Licence first
We look up Skill On Net Limited on the licensee register of the Malta Gaming Authority and confirm the number, MGA/CRP/171/2009, and its current status. If the register ever showed anything other than Licensed, every page would say so before anything else.
- PlayOJO's Irish terms
We read the terms and conditions for Ireland, not the UK or Canadian versions, because limits and offers differ by country. This is where the €10 minimum deposit, the €10,000 per 30 days cash-out cap and the fees come from.
- Offer and help pages
The welcome offer, OJOplus, Kickers and the OJO Safeguard tools are checked on PlayOJO's own promotion and help pages, including the spin value and which game the spins land on.
- Studio sheets for game data
RTP, volatility and max win come from the studio that built the game - Pragmatic Play for Gates of Olympus, Push Gaming for Jammin' Jars. Casino lobby blurbs and review sites don't count.
- Date it and schedule the next pass
Each checked page gets its Facts checked date, and the next full re-check is set for a month later. A change in PlayOJO's Irish terms triggers an early pass.
